F1 FLAG MEANINGS
By watching a GP live or by watcing highlights and photos of a GP you ''ll definetely notica that there are lots of differents flags each of witch each one has a different meaning.
Green Flag: The green flag appears after a yellow flag or at the start of the race and means that drivers can reach racing speeds.
Red Flag: The red flag appears when there has been a heavy crash and there are lots of debry on the track. With its occurance the practice session, the qualifying session or the race immediately stop!
Blue Flag: The blue flag appears when one of the leaders reaches a backmarker and laps him. When the backmarker doesn't let the car overtake him for 3 blue flag sessions he is awarded a penalty!
White Flag: The white flag appears when a slower car like an ambulance has entered the track for emergency reasons. DRivers must slow down and overtaking is restricted!
Black Flag: The black flag is sown to a driver when he is disqualified due to receiving many penalties or due to dangerous driving and means he mut return to the pits at the end of the next lap! THis flag with the disqualified car's number so as to prevent missunderstundings!

Chequered Flag : It's the flag every driver wants to see as it means that the race, the qualifying session or the practice session is over!
Half Black Flag : It is sown to a driver to warn him to stop driving illegally otherwise he will be disqualified ( also shown with car's number ).
Black with Orange circle: This flag warns the driver that his car has a mechanical problem that may hurt him or other drivers and means he must slow down and return to the pits at the end of the next lap. The car's number is also shown!
Yellow with red stripes : This flag warns the drivers that the surface ahead is slippery or that there is still some debry on the track!
